Earlier this month Facebook had to deal with allegations of their ad traffic being comprised of 80% bot traffic. Do you think these findings are accurate?
80% seems so high, I am very skeptical, that this number will stand more tests. I guess, that this bot is not coming from the Facebook company as that would be legal suicide. But at that high rate, I am sure, that there are technical ways to null most of the bot traffic in terms of not billing fraudulent clicks (see Googles plaintiff last decade). This will get expensive.
