Instagram has become the first app most Millennials open each morning when they wake up and check their notifications. With over 850 million unique users on Instagram and a recent purchase by Facebook, this platform has more influence in our day-to-day lives than any other. In recent years, there has been a surge in Instagram influencers, and today, the app boasts having more than 5.5 million active influencers between the ages of 18 and 34 making money using their platform.
With so many influencers using this platform as their main source of income, Instagram has recently created their new Professional Dashboard. This dashboard was created to support the ongoing effort to give creators and businesses the tools they need to have a successful profile all in one place.
This new business platform will centralize all of the features that help creators track their engagement, improve their e-commerce strategy, and remain educated about all that Instagram has to offer. Though you may be familiar with the tools that make up the business portal, having them all in one place will make less time for clicking around and more time for making money.
Instagram released this statement, “While some of these resources already exist across Instagram, we hope that by bringing them together into one central place we can make it easier for professionals to discover and access the tools best-suited for them.”
The three main features of this new business portal will be:
Track your performance: This is where you can discover insights and trends based on your account’s performance. This will include engagement rates, when it is best for you to post, etc.
Grow your business: This is where you can easily access tools that will run your account more efficiently. You can also discover new tools to help you grow your business and check monetization status and eligibility for your own profile.
Stay informed: This is where you can learn how to make the most of your Instagram page through curated educational resources including tips, tricks, guidance, and inspiration.
This new business professional dashboard will be available to all creator/business accounts and will be rolling out this week, so be on the lookout for these new updates to your Instagram profiles!
